Respect for Life – Education Movement (RLEM) is a Canadian charitable organisation devoted to educating about all the options available in case of an accidental pregnancy or one that is difficult to assume (i.e. abortion; adoption; mentoring; pregnancy support), as well as all the possibilities with regards to end-of life issues (i. e. palliative care; pain alleviation; rehabilitation; “medically-assisted death” in the form of euthanasia or assisted suicide).
In this way, RLEM supports the patient’s right to an informed medical and social decision, based on scientific fact, in an objective and neutral manner.
